The last 3+ years have been pretty extraordinary, with teams forced to juggle the pandemic, changing work environments, staffing shortages, supply chain issues, and a host of other challenges.  Navigating those issues — and trying to “bounce back better” from them — has required a level of resilience from teams and individuals alike.  While things appear to be a little better, more stable these days, there will always be challenges.  Team resilience, therefore, will always be a necessary factor to ensure engagement, productivity, and effectiveness.

The Performance Excellence Network – in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence – is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, September 21: “Increasing Team Resilience.”  The discussion will feature Rebecca Sanchez, founder and coach at PeopleSide, a Denver-based consulting firm.

In this content-rich session, you will discover proven strategies to combat workplace stress and build team resilience. The session begins with an overview of what resilience is, an activity to help us identify sources of stress, and a discussion about how emotions act as primary drivers of physiology. We will then define coherence and explore its role in optimal functioning. After introducing and practicing a grounding technique, participants will work through an activity that will help to identify when the application of the technique is beneficial.

This session is Thursday, Sept 21 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional speed networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING.  Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion.  Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!
