America faces great challenges as we approach the year 2026 — the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding. Communities across our country have struggled to confront systemic problems such as educational disparities, deteriorating public health, and inequities in economic opportunity. Moreover, efforts to address these and other critical issues are often carried out in silos, without a solid, systematic framework for cross-sector collaboration and performance excellence among key players and stakeholders.
The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, Nov 30: “Communities of Excellence: People are the Beginning and Ending of Your Story.” The discussion will be facilitated by Stephanie Norling, Executive Director of Communities of Excellence 2026.
In this discussion, Stephanie will explore the “who” and “why” of a community collaboration effort to reveal some of the challenges and joys of working with people. The discussion will focus on some key concepts of change, conflicts, and communications management that are helpful to know in leading continuous improvement initiatives — within communities or organizations.
This session is Thursday, Nov 30 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
