Leaders are dealing with so many challenges these days: continued staffing pressures; continued economic constraints; changing technology (including AI); changing customer preferences, and many more.  Juggling all of these challenges is difficult, at best.  And some organizations are good at managing some of the challenges; others are good at managing others.

The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence — is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, Nov 16: “Insights to Excellence: Exploring 6 Great Practices in 18 Minutes.”  The discussion will feature a unique “speed dating” format, allowing participants to explore six great ideas — one in each of the six Baldrige Categories — from six great leaders in various sectors:

  • Category 1 (Leadership): Paula Meskan, CEO, River’s Edge Hospital
  • Category 2 (Strategic Planning): Rod Baker, Associate VP of Continuous Systems Improvement, Winona Health
  • Category 3 (Customer): Sheri Johnson, Vice President of Billing & Enrollment, UCare
  • Category 4 (Measurement, Information & Knowledge Management): AJ Smith, Manager of Business Intelligence, Mary Greeley Medical Center
  • Category 5 (Workforce): Kim Eschenbauch, Organizational Impact Coach, Lakeland Care
  • Category 6 (Operations): Deb Zurawski, Director of Continuous Improvement, Ortho Molecular Products

Each speaker will have 2-3 minutes to share a best practice, tool, or solid method for ensuring high performance in various organizational systems. We’ll hear insights on Hoshin Kanri planning, customer advisory groups, Gallup workforce engagement, and many, many more!

After the introductory presentations, we will break into breakout rooms, one for each of the six speakers (you choose!) and all participants can ask the speakers questions, share their own insights and best practices, allowing everyone to share and learn from each other!  We’ll repeat a second round of breakouts (so that you can pick a second small group discussion), and then we’ll wrap up in the “main room” with a brief panel discussion and share out.

This session is Thursday, Nov 16 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion. Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.

Can’t make it live but interested in the content? Register anyway: all registered attendees get a link to the recording after the session!
