The complexities of leading through uncertainty are undeniable: the path ahead is often obscured by unforeseen challenges, market disruptions, and technological advancements. The very nature of uncertainty breeds discomfort and resistance, making it a formidable adversary to effective leadership. However, it is precisely during these times of ambiguity that the mettle of leaders is truly tested.

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to announce a special workshop experience on November 9: Leading through Uncertainty: The Wine Detective! The workshop will be 1:30-5:30 at a location TBD in the Twin Cities (and, yes, includes wine tasting!).  The workshop will be facilitated by Danielle Galmore, founder of North Carolina-based Touchpoint Wines and founder, Questa Consulting.

This workshop is designed to delve deep into the intricacies of leading through uncertainty, with a unique emphasis on the human element. We recognize that while strategies, analytics, and tactics are vital, it is the people side of leadership that can make or break your organization’s trajectory in times of flux. Over the course of this workshop, we will not only equip you with invaluable tools and insights to navigate these uncharted waters but also foster a collaborative environment where kindred leaders can share, learn, and grow together.

We will then take a unique twist and play Wine Detective. Wine Detective was designed to be a fun and collaborative activity that reinforces the curriculum of the workshop. Using a blind tasting format, you will work in small groups to solve a case. The experience is intended to mimic being faced with a decision during uncertainty and uses some of the best practice and tactics from the workshop to remove the uncertainty and solve the case. You are competing against other groups, similar to a typical competitive landscape. (There will be non-alcoholic options available for those who choose.)

Investment $200for members, $400for non-members.  Groups of three from the same member organization registering at the same time are $175/each.  Fees include wine (or non-alcoholic drinks).

Come experience this unique, fun, and powerful method of combining education and entertainment – a concept called “Edutainment,” which makes leadership development a little more “sticky!”
