As organizational leaders work to navigate the complexity of creating and executing strategy, improving operations, meeting shifting expectations from customers, addressing workforce constraints, and determining the best measures to monitor organizational performance, they need to remain grounded in the fundamental elements of what makes their organization what it is.  The Organizational Profile in the Baldrige Framework guides leaders through the exercise of articulating the identity and strategic position of an organization — this profile can be used in numerous ways, from laying the groundwork for strategic planning conversations to a key input into a Baldrige-based assessment.
The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome Michael Garner, President of Momentum consulting, and Sue Knutson, Mission Leader and CEO of Samaritan Bethany, to our Oct 15 Rochester breakfast featuring a discussion on: “Your Organizational Profile: Getting Started.”

In this session, Michael and Sue will explore how an organization can begin the process of crafting their own Organizational Profile. They will share how leaders at Samaritan Bethany have begun the important work of crafting a Profile as they prepare for the organization’s strategic planning sessions later this year.  We’ll explore some of the key elements of the Organizational Profile, discuss some of the approaches leaders use to determine responses to the questions in the Profile, and reflect on the benefits of having an up-to-date Profile Document.  You’ll have the opportunity to listen, learn, and even begin to craft some responses for your own organization’s Organizational Profile.

The discussion is at Woodlake Meeting Center.  Continental breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 with announcements at 7:45 and the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members.
