To really inspire innovation, change, and sustained improvement, you need the engagement of your team – they do the work and they know best how to improve your processes.

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome John Alberts, Executive Director of Educational Services at Austin Public Schools, to our July 10 Rochester PEN breakfast discussion: “Using Crowdsourced Innovation to Spark Change.”

John will share how APS used a crowdsourced innovation effort to hear ideas for improvement from staff and ultimately take ideas through the human-centered design process and ultimately microtesting.

The discussion is at Woodlake Meeting Center, Rochester MN (details provided after registration). Continental breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 with announcements at 7:45 and the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members.

Livestreaming (free) and video-on-demand ($20 for members) are now also available (discounted annual subscriptions are available and Premium/Sponsoring Members are free).

Note that PEN is hosting a full-day “Principles of Excellence: Baldrige 101” workshop immediately following (9:15-5:00), so stay for a powerful day of learning!
