In today’s environment, finding, engaging and retaining talented workers is a major goal for most organizations. A highly engaged workforce leads to more satisfied customers, growth, and overall better results. But ever-shifting work environments, changing workforce preferences and needs, and a persistent workforce shortage has put pressure on today’s leaders to adjust some of the methods they use to lead their teams, create a high performance culture, and achieve results.
The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence — is pleased to host a special in-person pre-conference workshop Wednesday, May 3: “Tips to Build a World-Class Workplace.” The session is offered as a pre-conference workshop to the PENworks 2023 conference, but also as a stand-alone option for those just wanting the workshop. It will be facilitated by Dr. Bryan Williams, one of the most in-demand speakers/facilitators in the country!
This half-day workshop will focus on best practices to create and sustain a workplace that attracts and retains high performers. Special emphasis will be on developing a powerful onboarding experience for new team members and ways to drive personal accountability and team cohesiveness throughout your team.
Learning topics include:
- Re-imagining the onboarding experience
- Tips to become the teammate that others want to have
- Modeling peer accountability
- Optimizing your ideal role
The session is May 3 from 1:00-5:00pm CT and will be held at the LINK Event Center, across the street from the Mystic Lake Conference Center in Prior Lake. Cost for the workshop is $250/members ($500 for non-members). Discounts available for teams of 3+ from the same organization registering at the same time ($225); a $50 discount for those also attending the main PENworks 2023 conference the following day (May 4).
