BREAKFAST DISCUSSION POSTPONED;

RESCHEDULED LATER THIS SPRING!

Leaders of all kinds of organizations are working to achieve better results.  What sets apart the organizations that attain better results from those who don’t?  What does it take to achieve and sustain excellence in an ever-changing environment?  With rapid shifts in technology, workforce, customer expectations, and competition, prioritizing improvement needs can seem overwhelming.  What if there was a proven framework to identify, prioritize and address opportunities for improvement across your organizational system?  There is, and it’s called the Baldrige Excellence Framework.

The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome Michael Garner of Momentum Group to our March 6 Rochester breakfast featuring a discussion on: “The Fundamentals of Excellence: An Introduction to Baldrige.”

The elements of performance excellence start with foundational Core Values and Concepts, translated through systematic processes to produce strong results. This session will provide an introductory overview of how the Baldrige Framework aligns with the priorities of any organization to support improvement efforts centered around customers and organizational performance.  The session will include interactive learning, and will be presented from the perspective of an experienced Baldrige practitioner (Michael has over 12 years’ experience with Baldrige as a PEN Evaluator, team lead, trainer, and judge, in addition to leading the use of Baldrige at a local organization for nearly a decade).  Participants will learn how Baldrige, at its core, focused on bringing value to people and results for organizations.

The discussion will be hosted by Woodlake Meeting Center.  Continental breakfast will be served from 7:15 to 7:45 with announcements at 7:45 and the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members.
