In our “do more with less” world, managers and technical experts are relied on more and more to train colleagues, external stakeholders, and customers. This will be a crash course in training design and reinforcement for occasional trainers. These people get asked to train others because they are a manager, subject matter expert and/or they are available. Often they have little time to organize their content and even less to prepare training materials. This will be an interactive, practical discussion designed to share tools and techniques that actually work in the real world.Key takeaways from this session include:
- Basic understanding of Adult Education and training design principles
- Tool for matching training content to training approach
- Procedure for developing training in a hurry
- Techniques for reinforcing training back on the job
