It’s been said that, once you have gone through the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award application process, your organization will never be the same.  But when you work for a Baldrige Award winning company, you will never be the same for the rest of your working career.

The Performance Excellence Network, SE Region, is pleased to welcome Becky Buzard, Organizational Development Coordinator for Olmsted County, to our January 19 (note date change!) Rochester breakfast discussion: “Lessons Learned from Silverlake: 2015 Shurson Awards.”

Becky had the pleasure of working alongside Karl Shurson for many years, at Pemstar/IBM.  During this time, she observed, listened and learned.  Becky works hard at building collaborative environments, breaking down communication barriers, and helping people challenge their assumptions.  She is passionate about engaging employees to go from better to their very best.   These are best practices that apply to any leader in any organization.  Following Becky’s presentation, we will be awarding the 2015 Karl Shurson Quality Award winners.

The discussion is at Woodlake Meeting Center, 210 Woodlake Dr, Rochester, MN (details provided after registration).  Continental breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 7:45 with the presentation from 7:45 to 9:00 am.  No cost for members; $30 for non-members. To register, contact [email protected].

No livestreaming/video available for this discussion.
