As the world of work continues to shift, we are all in search of new ideas, updated approaches, and best practices to get things done.  Oftentimes the best ideas come from our peers.  Furthermore, PEN continues to hear from our members that we all want ways to network and connect with others during these isolating times, sharing ideas and insights on topics that still challenge us as leaders and professionals.  So…
The Performance Excellence Network – in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence – is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, June 24: “Insights on Work Environments, Staffing Challenges, and Inclusive Cultures.”  This will be a “speakerless” discussion that consists of three “lightening rounds” of self-moderated sharing and learning from each other!

The three topics were carefully selected using feedback from the last three months’ PEN webinar surveys.  They are the three most often mentioned challenges that we all face:

  1. Managing shifting work environments — insights to (re)creating work environments that facilitate productivity, accommodate different employee preferences (remote, in-office, hybrid), and balance the needs of the organization with its people.
  2. Navigating staffing challenges — ways to address the reemergence of acute staffing challenges through better recruiting, innovative partnerships, and techniques to promote engagement and retention.
  3. Creating open, inclusive cultures — how organizations create openness, reduce toxicity & incivility, and capitalize on the diverse backgrounds and characteristics, knowledge, skills, creativity, and motivation of their people.

PEN will provide a simple process to help facilitate the dialogue, but largely the session will be organic, allowing participants to contribute and connect in whatever way is meaningful to them.  Each discussion topic will last approximately 15 minutes, providing an opportunity to learn from others in and outside your industry.

The discussion will provide an opportunity for sharing, learning, networking (and all-important professional connection).

This session is Thursday, June 24 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional speed networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING.  Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion.  Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
