There are many things required for organizations to thrive: effective processes, good data and decision making, valuable products & services, a solid strategic plan.  But all of those things — indeed, organizational excellence itself — requires people!

The Performance Excellence Network — in partnership with the Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and the Iowa Quality Center — is pleased to announce a powerful workshop: Excellence is About People!  The workshop will be hosted April 18 IN PERSON from 1:00 to 4:00 PM CT and will be facilitated by Michael Garner of Momentum, a Minnesota-based consulting firm.  The workshop is one of four pre-conference workshops for the igniteEX 2024 conference, held later April 18 and all day April 19.  More information on the conference is here.  You may attend the workshop without attending the conference, but there is a discount for attending both!

This session takes a deeper look at three categories in the Baldrige Framework — the “people Categories” of Leadership, Customers, and Workforce — and the crucial role they play in achieving and sustaining excellence. For each Category, we’ll examine how high performing organizations use systematic approaches to drive great results; you’ll be encouraged to share your experience in these three areas with others in the session, as well. We’ll look at current data and trends around leadership effectiveness, the principles of customer engagement, and the principles for workforce development, among other topics.

We’ll consider the Baldrige Core Values and Concepts, the Organizational Profile, Processes, and Results, and how the best practices represented in the Baldrige system impact an organization’s journey toward excellence. This session is appropriate for anyone, regardless of your knowledge of the Baldrige Framework — no experience necessary! Just bring your passion for improvement and people, and get ready to learn and share in this interactive, content-packed environment.

The session will be hosted at Mystic Lake Conference Center, Prior Lake, MN on April 18 from 1:00-4:00.

Investment is $250 for members ($500 for non-members).  Discounts available for those also attending the igniteEX 2024 conference ($200). No group discounts available for this workshop, as space is limited and it WILL sell out!

So if you want to learn more about Baldrige and/or the role that people play in organizational excellence, consider this powerful workshop!
