Two more speakers added!!

Work environments continue to change pretty significantly, with some organizations continuing virtual or hybrid models and others exploring new approaches to how and where work gets done. These changes in work models have required changes in communication methods to ensure effective, two-way communication throughout organizations.

The Performance Excellence Network –- in partnership with the St. Paul Area Chamber and Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence -– is pleased to host an online webinar discussion on November 4: “Effective Communication in Changing Work Environments.”  The discussion will feature leaders from three different types of organizations, each sharing insights, tips, and successful methods that have helped them communicate with and engage their workforce.  Speakers — from a large manufacturer, a two service businesses, and a higher education institution — include:

  • Dr. Jeanne Dorle, Faculty, Walden University School of Management
  • Matt Dorschner, Change Management Consultant, Ucare
  • Levi Kaiser, Project Manager, Benike Construction
  • David Robinson, Director, Process Engineering, Seagate Technology

The discussion will focus on how communication approaches have shifted the last 18 months to accommodate changes in the work environment; how technology is used to enhance communication (but also non-digital methods for effective communication); and how leaders are working to ensure frank, open and effective two-way communication with their teams.

This session is Thursday, Nov 4 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional speed networking and mingling 7:45-8:00), using Zoom MEETING.  Grab your coffee and breakfast, and join us for a rich discussion.  Free for PEN/WCPE members; $20 for non-members.
