The MNODN, an affiliate partner of the Performance Excellence Network, is pleased to announce its next program: “Diagnosing Problems in Organizational Communication.” The session will be Mar 6, 5:30-7:30 PM at St. Thomas, and will be facilitated by Dr. James Bohn, Johnson Controls.
In my years of working as a manager, leader, teacher, and consultant, one organizational issue remains constant. In my career I have visited and worked with scores of Fortune 100 organizations. There is one thing that everyone talks about, yet does very little to improve. It is the one thing that has significant influence on organizational performance, yet, it is the one thing with the least amount of emphasis compared to design, engineering, manufacturing, finance and, most astonishingly of all, Human Resources. The issue is communication. Many costly organizational mistakes have been made through ineffective communication. At the bottom of it all is this simple truth: without effective communications, people don’t understand each other, and in the corporate world poor communication can produce disastrous results.
The session is $25 ($20 for Network members, as allied partners). More information at http://www.mnodn.org/
