Jan 14 St. Paul Knowledge Forum
Did you know that only 30% of change programs succeed? If you’re charged with developing or deploying changes – Lean Six Sigma, ISO certification, Baldrige, best practice implementations, culture changes, or others – this breakfast meeting will provide a model to help you navigate change.
The Performance Excellence is pleased to welcome Gary Floss (formerly of Marvin Windows & Doors) and John Fechter (formerly of Medtronic), both instructors at the University of St. Thomas to our next breakfast meeting: Wednesday, January 14th at St. Paul College in room L4310. Directions will be provided in the email confirmation. Networking is from 7:30 to 8:00am with the presentation from 8:00 to 9:00. No cost for members; $30.00 for non-members.
Gary and John will explain what works, what doesn’t from the perspectives of having the “burnt fingers and scars” to learn what’s puffery and what actually works in the real world of change and improvement. John and Gary have been leading, directing, and evaluating change programs since the early 1980s, working in the processes and on the processes as national Baldrige Examiners, VPs at Fortune 500 companies, graduate course instructors, and business consultants.
This breakfast discussion is an introduction to a three-day workshop series that PEN will offer later in 2015 – a series that focuses on application, helping participants successfully implement a change project in their organizations. Gary and John will stay after the breakfast meeting to answer any questions you might have about their model and approach. You don’t want to miss 90 years of experience and wisdom. To register, contact Brian Lassiter at [email protected].
