Innovation is key to the success of any organization.  In fact, a recent Wall Street Journal article stated that 9 out of 10 executives rate innovation as important to the success of their firm.  It is a key driver of growth, a necessary factor to stay competitive, and a way for organizations to create and sustain value for their customers, owners, and other stakeholders.  But only 5 out of 10 of those executives were satisfied with the level of innovation in their organizations.  The reason?  Leaders contend that innovation is difficult – that organizations find it challenging to successfully and consistently innovate, simply because they don’t know how to.
The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to host a viewing of a previous Twin Cities PEN breakfast, featuring  Erez Tsalik of Israeli-based Systematic Inventive Thinking (SIT), June 19: “Best Practices in Innovation.”  We will view the video, then discuss best practices and application to your own organizations and teams!  Erez will be back in the Twin Ports Aug 14-15 for a 1.5 day workshop that teaches SIT’s innovation process and toolkit.

Participants will explore how innovation could benefit their own organization, learning tools that work for innovative problem solving, product/service/process design, strategy development, and many other organizational processes!

The discussion will be hosted by St. Louis County at the Government Center (details after registration).  Continental breakfast will be served from 7:00 to 7:30 with the discussion from 7:30 to 8:30 am. No cost for members; $20 for non-members.
