The need to improve your organization’s performance has perhaps never been greater. Today, customers expect more, competent workers are growing scarce, and competition is intensifying. But – with the complexity of organizations – where does one start? How do you know on which processes to focus? And how to do you sustain the improvement over time?
The Performance Excellence Network is pleased to welcome Brian Lassiter, president of the Performance Excellence Network, to our Sept 17 Mankato Area PEN breakfast discussion: “A Network for Excellence in the Mankato Area.”
The Mankato Area Performance Excellence Network (PEN) is nearly a year old, serving as a forum to help leaders and professionals improve their organizations, their teams, and themselves. The Mankato forum is part of a three-state network to help improve the region.
Brian will summarize PEN’s mission and services, outlining what resources and tools are available today to help organizations in the Mankato area improve performance. We’ll also hear from several Mankato area leaders as to the value they receive from using PEN’s resources, but then the majority of the discussion will explore the challenges, goals, and needs of local organizations so that the Mankato Area PEN planning team can focus future breakfast discussions on topics that are valuable to the region.
The discussion will be hosted by South Central College in North Mankato. Continental breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 8:00 with the discussion from 8:00 to 9:00 am. For a limited time, Mankato Area PEN breakfasts are offered at NO COST for members or non-members!! So come try out the forum – learn practices that can improve your organization’s performance and network with local leaders and professionals who are passionate about excellence!
